BRIDGE TO THE HOME

A Program for Moms Raising Jewish Children in an interfaith Family

This course explores Jewish home celebrations and customs – particularly if you did not have a Jewish childhood yourself – through a step-by-step approach to creating a Jewish home as an interfaith family. The main component of the program is a series of Sunday morning sessions for Moms - approximately twice a month - throughout the school year.  We will learn about the traditions of Shabbat, Chanukah and Passover.  We will also focus on creating a Jewish home in the context of the unique situation of each interfaith family.  In addition, several family events will be held.  Join us for coffee, new friends, Jewish learning and great discussions!

When: SUNDAY MORNINGS, 9:00 – 11:00 a.m., Temple Kol Emeth’s Doc Lebow Center
