This program explores the role of the synagogue and helps interfaith couples become a part of synagogue life.  We will study the traditions of Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Simchat Torah and Purim and their significance and celebrations in the synagogue.  The class will have the opportunity to learn about the sanctuary and discuss spirituality with clergy from the host congregation.  We will also focus on life cycle events and religious education for children.  In addition, there will be opportunities to participate in holiday celebrations as a class during the program.  This program received "Honorable Mention" in the 2001 "Belin Outreach Awards" of the Union for Reform Judaism for innovative Outreach programming.  For a full calendar and more information, contact the Program Coordinator, Debbie Antonoff, (770) 973-3528.
